Service Management: Scheduling Time, People and Equipment
Contractors with service departments know that service work
generally accounts for 30% of their annual revenue but takes 70% of their
employee
resources. The Service Management module makes sure you're organized and
tracking everything you need to be profitable. This easy-to-use
module gives you all the tools you need to plan for peak periods, schedule
maintenance calls and track everything from equipment use
to contracts, service technicians and work orders.
Map It!
Service Management module is Internet empowered. Click on an address and
directions to the job site are available.
The Dispatch Board
After you enter a service call, ComputerEase
automatically generates a user-defined ‘call box’ that summarizes
the call. Double clicking on the call box opens a full work order detail
screen that reveals customer receivables, warranty, contract equipment,
credit histories, work orders and contract information.
Whatever It Is, Find it Now
All the information you need about your customers is instantly available
with a mouse click. Information like site notes, aged trial balance,
equipment history, open work tickets, contract and warranty information
is easily found. Organize multiple sites for customers and assign labor,
material and sales tax pricing codes to each site. Maintain and track
multiple
pieces of equipment at each site. Keep track of dates and times requested
and promised. Keep a log of information about each customer site.
Direct Heavy Traffic with Your Mouse
You can customize your own dispatch grid on the Schedule Board and configure
different grids for assigned and unassigned calls. Work orders are automatically
generated once you enter unscheduled calls and scheduled maintenance.
It calculates work load so you don't over book someone. You’re
also free to move work orders from one technician to another to create
scheduling priorities any time you wish. You can also assign each service
technician to a unique inventory location, such as a service truck.
Plus, work order histories are maintained for each piece of equipment
at each site. An equipment master file maintains model numbers, serial
numbers, warranty information, service schedules and more.
